Blow molding machine basic information
After the liquid plastic is sprayed out, the machine is used to blow out the wind to blow the plastic body attached to a certain shape of the mold cavity to make the product, and this machine is called a hollow blow molding machine. The plastic is melted and extruded quantitatively in the screw extruder, then shaped through the mouth film, then there is wind ring blowing air cooling, then there is a traction machine at a certain speed traction, winding machine will be wound into a roll.
blow moulding, also known as hollow blow molding, is a rapidly developing plastic processing method. Thermoplastic resin by extrusion or injection molding of tubular plastic blanks, while hot (or heated to a soft state), placed in the folio mold, immediately after closing the mold in the blanks into the compressed air, so that the plastic blanks blow expansion and cling to the inner wall of the mold, after cooling off the mold, that is, to obtain a variety of hollow products. The manufacturing process of blown film is very similar to hollow products blow molding in principle, but it does not use molds, from the perspective of plastics processing technology classification, the molding process of blown film is usually included in extrusion. The blow molding process began during World War II for the production of low-density polyethylene vials.
In the late 1950s, with the birth of high-density polyethylene and the development of blow molding machines, blow molding technology became widely used. The volume of hollow containers can reach tens of thousands of liters, and some production has been computer-controlled. Suitable for blow molding plastics are polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, etc., the production of hollow containers are widely used as industrial packaging containers.
According to the production method of blanks, blow molding can be divided into extrusion blow molding and injection blow molding, the newly developed multi-layer blow molding and stretch blow molding.
